Hull No. 1 of the new Oceanic Yachts 90 has found a buyer and construction is beginning at the Canados shipyard in Italy, with delivery expected in June 2014.
The arrangements plan calls for an upper-deck owner’s suite along with three guest staterooms on the lower deck. Interior décor will include extensive woodwork such as limed oak, macassar ebony, wenge and lacquered wood, along with bamboo floors.

There’s no word yet on whether the owner will go with the DiElec option that is offered on the Oceanic 90, creating a diesel-electric propulsion system that runs the boat on either two Caterpillar engines or two electric motors powered by generators. With the Cats, the design is expected to reach a speed of 28 knots.
