Alexander Marine, the manufacturer of Ocean Alexander yachts, is closing its facility in China to consolidate personnel and expand operations at its facility in Taiwan.
“Our sales trends have shown an increase in larger-sized yachts,” the company stated in a press release. “The Taiwan yard will expand to meet the demand for larger yachts.”
Nine new-boat sales were completed this past summer, a new record for the builder. The 90- and 120-foot models have been particularly popular. The full Ocean Alexander range spans 72 to 155 feet.
