Turkish boatbuilder Numarine has sold Hull No. 1 of its 78HTS, a sport-flybridge version of the Numarine 78HT that debuted in May 2017.
The owner of the first Numarine 78HTS plans to use the yacht in the United States, according to the builder.
“The client is from Hong Kong and Asia Marine was instrumental in convincing him to choose Numarine, but the yacht will be utilized in the USA, so the client had to be comfortable with Numarine USA as well for the after-sales assistance,” Numarine Director Antonio Caviglia stated in a press release. “This special yacht will incorporate some significant customizations that we will divulge when we launch her in late summer of 2018.”
Performance specs: The Numarine 78HTS comes standard with twin 1,200-horsepower MAN V-8s, but Hull No. 1 will have 1,550-horsepower MAN V-12s for a top speed of 37 knots and a cruise speed of 27 knots.
