The Equator 730LS is the largest in this Novurania series, a line marketed as top-end megayacht tenders.
The 730LS carries 13 people and is second in seating capacity to Novurania’s Equator 660LX. Her U-shape seating arrangement in the bow provides room for passengers to stay dry under the dodger, which is standard. In the stern, seating is L-shape, allowing for easier access to the engine and swim platform.Molded steps amidships to port and starboard allow for easy boarding onto the nonslip deck.
A variety of options let the owner match the tender to the yacht, spatially and aesthetically. The console can be a fixed upright or a folding design if height is a stowage consideration. Owners can customize the color of the tube trim and cushion piping, and the yacht’s name or logo can be embroidered on the cushions. Teak decks also are available.
For those who want to use the 730LS for more than carrying passengers to and from shore, a ski tow is standard, and a fishfinder and dive tank holders are optional.
A vacuum-bagging process promotes lightness and strength in hull and deck construction. A composite core fiber is placed between fiberglass layers, then excess resin is vacuumed out. The five-chamber air tube is made of five-ply Hypalon for durability and color preservation.
