Nicholson Yachts, which encourages the charter yachts it manages to ban plastic water bottles and do more recycling, has teamed up with Aardvark Straws to eliminate the use of plastic straws.
The company is encouraging all charter yachts to replace plastic straws with Aardvark’s paper straws.
“About 500 million plastic straws are used every day in the United States, and many of those plastic straws end up in our oceans, not only polluting the water but also harming sea life,” Nicholson Yachts announced in a press release.
What else is new at Nicholson Yachts? The 90-foot Catana Orion is offering charters in Fiji, Spring Break dates are available on the 115-foot schooner Eros, and several charter yachts are available for upcoming regattas and races.
