New Design Adds More Mega Features

The Mangusta 132 updates the 130 with a sundeck helm and zero-speed stabilizers.

New Design Adds More Mega Features

Mangusta is replacing the long-popular 130 in its line of fast megayachts with a new 132 that is designed in keeping with the builder’s 165 — and that adds big-boat features galore.

The 132 is expected to have a top speed around 36 knots, driven by a pair of 4,600-hp MTUs coupled to KaMeWa water jets. She’ll have larger windows and skylights compared with the 130, making her interior seem lighter and larger. The 132 also has zero-speed stabilizers and helm stations both inside and out (the Mangusta 130 had only an inside helm). Stefano Righini handled design for Mangusta, which is part of The Overmarine Group.

Mangusta will customize the 132 with four or five staterooms, a variety of woods and fabrics, and the owner’s choice of finishes.
