Viking Sport Cruisers has introduced four new models, the V52, V56, V72, and the new 78 Motor Yacht. All of the vessels were built using the latest in resin infusion technology, which reduces weight and increases the efficiency and performance of the finished yacht. The V56 and the V78 debuted at the PSP Southampton Boat Show in England, though no official date has been set for the finished construction of the V52 and V72. www.vikingsportcruisers.com

Lagoon will celebrate 25 years of boat building this month when they debut their new Lagoon 400 at the Annapolis Sailboat Show (October 8 to 11). The new 400 is designed with balance in mind, and, with lines borrowed from the Lagoon 620, the 400 aims to pack large boat features into a 40-foot cruising catamaran, that’s designed for comfort and performance. www.cata-lagoon.com

Symbol will debut the 59 Classic at the Annapolis Powerboat Show (October 15 to 18). Designed by Jack W. Sarin, Symbol’s intention with the 59 was to provide yachtsmen with a classically designed cruiser that is seaworthy, comfortable, and able to go the distance for serious, long-range cruising. www.symbolyachts.com

Selene Ocean Trawlers introduces the Selene 44, the new model in their “Next Generation Selene” series. The smallest of the Selene Pilothouse Trawler line, the new 44 will begin shipping in early 2010, the company says. A grown-up version of the Selene 43, the 44 boasts Cummins QSB 5.9 230-horsepower engines and Selene predicts she will have a top speed of around 10.5 knots. www.selenetrawlers.com
