Italy’s Invictus Yachts is introducing the 280GT, a design by Christian Grande DesignWorks with a top speed of 38 knots.

The 280GT has a length overall of 29 feet, but she’s meant to feel bigger inside than other yachts in her class thanks to her reverse bow, which creates additional interior volume in addition to giving her exterior an imposing presence.

Overall, the design is meant to be used as a day boat for eight guests.

“Invictus gave me the occasion to reinterpret a new evolution in nautical design that I would call Nautical 2.0,” Grande stated in a press release. “Everything that one would have expected to find when aboard a large yacht is now at hand with the Invictus, with a singular and innovative design.”

Power is a 320-horsepower Volvo Penta 5.7 V8 sterndrive. Four hull-paint colors are available: vanilla sea, attack gray, dark wood and personal white. Accessories and equipment can be customized to the owner’s taste.
