Nautica 19 Deluxe

Nautica, which builds models from 10 to 36 feet, is one of the few inflatable companies that manufactures in the United States.

Originally developed for the commercial diving and rescue market, the Nautica RIB 19 Deluxe features a deep-V hull that provides solid comfort during a run out to the boat in a choppy anchorage or in bigger-than-you’d-like swells that can make strapping on gear a troublesome prospect. This RIB would also make a fine primary boat because of its soft entry and dry ride.

The deck layout can seat as many as 10 passengers with a separate driver’s seat, a large rear bench seat and V-shape seating in the bow.

The fiberglass console houses a variety of electronics, and a radar arch carries aerials and arrays.

Maximum horsepower is 150, combined. The Deluxe weighs 850 pounds. It is ideal for stowing on an upper deck, where weight should be kept to a minimum for the sake of stability.

Nautica, which builds models from 10 to 36 feet, is one of the few inflatable companies that manufactures in the United States. The company opened a Miami-based factory in 1985 to be closer to U.S. customer demand, offer more design versatility and avoid “off the shelf” models, according to Vice President Debra Young.
