Meet the Galeon 460 Fly

The Galeon 460 Fly is a Polish import that blends style, substance and performance into a family-friendly cruiser.

If you like to do entertain friends and family at sea, the Galeon 460 Fly offers several gathering spaces your salty soirée, starting with the cockpit’s optional folding table and transom settee, all protected by the flybridge overhang. It’s a nice spot for lunch on the hook.

Opening the three-piece, sliding glass cockpit door connects guests here with those in the salon, creating an indoor-outdoor scenario. Salon seating consists of a settee to starboard across from the galley aft, and a dinette forward and to port. The lower helm is across from the dinette with seating for two. An L-shaped settee and sun pad on the flybridge, and a foredeck sun pad round out the party areas on board the 460 Fly.

To prep meals for all those guests, the galley has a two-burner electric cooktop, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, and Corian countertops. A wet bar is standard on the flybridge and a grill is optional.

For extended cruising, the 460 Fly has a three-stateroom, two-head, layout. The master stateroom is full-beam and amidships with a queen-size berth. There is a forepeak VIP with queen-size berth too. A third guest stateroom has bunks and is abaft and to starboard of the VIP.

Power for the 460 Fly comes from twin 550 hp Volvo Penta D8 diesels with V-drive transmissions.

Some notable standards for the yacht include a swim platform, three hull-color options, a windlass, a 54,000 BTU Condaria air-conditioning system and a 12-kW Fischer Panda diesel genset.

Some options include walnut or beach wood cabinetry and flooring, a hydraulic swim platform, a Glendinning Cablemaster, an electric bow thruster and a Raymarine electronics package, to name a few.
