Raymarine Wi-Fish

Raymarine Wi-Fish is a new smartphone app that uses Wi-Fi to stream real-time sonar images to phones and tablets from Dragonfly PRO models. In essence, the app turns smartphones and tablets into handheld displays.

Dragonfly PRO models, which come in 4- to 7-inch versions, have built-in Wi-Fi that makes the app possible. Once the app is downloaded to a smartphone or tablet, users can rewind, pause and zoom the sonar images on the handheld devices. Sonar images also can be captured and shared with friends via smartphones and tablets.

The Raymarine Dragonfly line features wide-spectrum CHIRP DownVision sonar for photo-like images, high-speed tracking and good deep-water resolution to 600 feet. Dragonfly models with GPS built in allow a choice of charts from Navionics, C-MAP by Jeppesen or Raymarine LightHouse.
