Lürssen delivered the 74-meter Aurora to her owners earlier this month. The boat had been completing sea trials in the Baltic Sea for most of May, and then was deemed ready for her debut. Both the yacht’s interior and exterior were designed by the Winch Design Team, which kept in mind the owners’ desire to have many personal and intimate areas on board. Winch also used plenty of stainless steel and mahogany on the exterior to give the yacht a classic, transAtlantic ocean liner look.
The interior has an Art Deco feel to it, coinciding with the boat’s timeless exterior. The owners reportedly have chosen to keep many pieces of art on board, particularly on the bridge deck, which also has a full-service bar. Aurora will spend her first season in the Med, where it’s nearly doubtless she will turn heads wherever she may roam.
