Baglietto recently launched its 177-foot superyacht to a crowd of spectators, including its European owner and shipyard workers, at the La Spezia, Italy, shipyard.
Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, in collaboration with architect Margherita Casprini, the steel and aluminum displacement yacht stays true to the Baglietto platform used in previous builds such as Blue Scorpion, Gitana and Baraka.
According to the company, this latest launch offers a preview into a restyling taking place for its new vessels, including an in-build 141-footer (43m), 174-footer (48m) and 180-footer (55m). There are also two larger yachts in the works. Suffice it to say, there’s a lot more on the horizon for this builder.
What to look forward to: A 151-foot superyacht launching in April.
