This past weekend, ISA Yachts launched Aziza, a 134-footer that is the first in a series of five custom megayachts under construction at the Italian shipyard. She is being called a 41-meter Classic, developed from ISA’s 39-meter Classic platform that dates to 2009.

Aziza will now proceed to final fit-out and is expected to be delivered to her owner in late June.

Andrea Vallicelli handled naval architecture on Aziza, which has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. The trideck is said to have “immense volume” within her modern styling, including five guest cabins and an oversized dining room on the main deck. She is expected to be powered by a pair of C18 Caterpillars with a maximum speed of 14 knots.

Some 250 people have worked on the build, which began about 20 months ago following Aziza‘s commissioning in late 2011.

As soon as Aziza is delivered to her owner this summer, her place in the shed will be taken by a 177-foot new build. Already under construction at ISA are a 141-footer and a 216-footer.
