Invictus Yachts has teamed up with Garmin to produce a branded, upscale version of the quatix 5 smartwatch.

The watch comes with interchangeable straps: classic silicon for use on the water, and upgraded leather with contrasting stitching for heading ashore.

Features include Garmin’s LiveTrack function, Smart Notifications and Connect IQTM for personalized data fields, widgets and more. Garmin ElevateTM software measures pulse rate, and QuickFitTM technology can release the wristband in a hurry.

The quatix 5 connects wirelessly to multifunction chart plotters or compatible Garmin displays, letting yachtsmen control onboard sensors for boat speed, depth, temperature, wind and more. When connected to the autopilot GHC 20, the watch can activate a yacht’s autopilot, and change or follow a course. A man-overboard button creates a MOB waypoint on the boat’s chart plotter. The watch also includes an anchor-drag alarm.

It’s still waterproof: The Invictus Yacht version of the quatix 5 is waterproof to 982 feet.
