Horizon V80
Horizon Yachts has delivered Hull No. 1 of its V80 motoryacht to a Taiwanese businessman. The V80 is his first yacht, and he has christened her The One.
The owner wanted a yacht for cruising with his family, entertaining guests and meeting business demands. Design and construction took about a year, and Horizon says the owner was “heavily involved” to ensure all the details were exactly how he wanted them. Custom features include a three-stateroom layout belowdecks, an oversized master stateroom, a mahjong area forward of the salon on the main deck, and placement of the galley abaft the engines, in lieu of a crew area.
Top speed is 24.2 knots and cruising speed is 20.6 knots, driven by twin 1,360-hp MAN V12 engines.
Look for The One to cruise not only in Taiwan, but also around Ishigaki Island in Japan, Hainan Sanya in China and Hong Kong.
