In a move sure to turn the heads of day boaters and superyacht tender skippers alike, Honda Marine has introduced the four-stroke BF100 — the most powerful outboard in its midrange engine lineup.

The Honda BF100 uses the same design and technology that is used in Honda automobiles including the Accord and CR-V. It offers an rpm range of 5,500 to 6,300 and weighs 366 pounds.

“Our newest outboard model provides boaters more power from initial blast to top-end speed, with lighter weight and greater fuel efficiency than has ever been achieved in a midsize profile,” Honda Marine Senior Manager Mark DiPietro stated in a press release.
