Hatteras Yachts Launches M90 Panacera

Hatteras debuting 90-footer at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Taking design cues from the M75, the M90 is built for at-sea entertaining with an unobstructed main-deck floorplan and wide-open flybridge.

Hatteras/Cabo Yachts CEO, Kelley Grindle, says the open setup provides “outstanding panoramic views as well as ease of flow between social spaces.”

House-spanning and frameless windows, a fold-out balcony to port and a broad-shouldered 22-foot-6-inch beam create the salon’s sense of openness and volume. The salon’s sole stretches free and clear from the cockpit’s sliding glass doors through to the dining table for eight just abaft the day head and atrium galley. There is port- and starboard-side access to the galley.

If you prefer dinner under the stars, al fresco dining facilities include an aft-deck setup with built-in settee, table; a table for eight on the hardtop-covered flybridge; and a foredeck dining table with sun lounge space.

For long-range cruising enthusiasts, the yacht is equipped with four staterooms with en suite heads, including a full-beam master stateroom amidships with a king-size berth. Crew quarters, accessed via the transom, include a captain’s cabin with twin berth as well as a twin bunk room. There is also a separate head and galley for crew.

In addition to creating an open floorplan, implementing new ships-monitoring technology is key onboard the M90. The builder developed its proprietary HattCon system, which “integrates” navigation, vessel monitoring and automation into a touchscreen interface. Onboard entertainment systems are run through a Crestron package, enabling owners and guests to control TV and music, including type, volume and the like via iPads.

Powered with twin 1,900 hp Caterpillar C-32A diesels, the builder reports90 has a 22-knot cruise speed and a 24.7-knot top-end. Range at cruise is about 428 nautical miles. Additionally, her 5-foot-7-inch draft make her a Bahamas-friendly voyager.
