Alexseal Yacht Coatings has expanded its digital Color Configurator, adding four new yacht models and three trend-driven hues aimed at giving owners and designers more flexibility in visualizing custom finishes.
The update builds on the tool’s 2025 debut, which allowed users to apply solid and metallic coatings to various yacht profiles. With this latest rollout, the configurator now includes a large sailing yacht, Dutch-style motor yacht, power catamaran and center console, bringing the total to nine vessel types.
Unlike earlier iterations that relied on generic designs, the new models are based on real-world collaborations with builders. The sailing segment now features the Contest 56CS, while the Dutch motor yacht category includes the Boarncruiser 1440 Elegance. A 555 power catamaran rounds out the multihull offering, alongside a center console aimed at the U.S. market.
Alexseal has also introduced three new colors—Sour, a vivid yellow-green; Tree House, a deep brown; and Ice Water, a pale blue-gray—drawn from its parent company’s 2026 “Colors of the Year.” The shades are available exclusively within the configurator, where users can apply them across hulls, superstructures and boot stripes.
Designed as a complement to traditional paint samples, the configurator helps users evaluate how colors interact with a yacht’s scale and geometry—something small swatches often struggle to convey. The platform now allows exploration across nearly 130 colors, offering a more comprehensive preview of potential finishes before paint is ever applied.
