FLIR Systems, which owns Raymarine, has teamed up with Navionics to add several features on Raymarine’s LightHouse II-based multifunction displays.

Users of LightHouse II MFDs can now use Navionics’ Dock-to-Dock Autorouting, SonarChart Live and Advanced Map features.

Dock-to-Dock Autorouting lets users choose start and end points. The system then uses algorithms to calculate a route based on chart data, navigation aids and water depth.

SonarChart Live lets yachtsmen survey new areas or places where bottom conditions have changed, and then instantly create bathymetric charts that appear on their MFD.

Advanced Map Options let users highlight shallow areas, select fishing ranges and more.
