Fairline will debut its Targa 43 Open at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

The yacht, penned by designer Alberto Mancini, is the entry vessel into the builder’s Targa range, which also includes 48-, 53- and 63-foot models.

Powered with twin 435 hp Volvo Penta IPS600 diesels, the 43 Open is expected to make 34 knots. To ensure comfort underway, Fairline is building the Targa 43 Open with a deep-V hull form supported by resin-infused fiberglass, creating a relatively lightweight, yet sturdy structure.

Sun worshippers will appreciate the yacht’s cockpit sun pad set over the transom garage and flanked by teak steps for easy water access. (There’s a second sun pad on the foredeck.) Cockpit U-shaped seating to port has a table for lunch under the hardtop. If you want some sun here, the hardtop’s roof is retractable. Additional seating is just forward, and across to starboard is the helm with twin seats, single-lever controls, Garmin electronics and 7-inch Volvo Penta display

For light meal-prep, the 43 Open’s galley-down to port is equipped with a two-burner cooktop, microwave and fridge/freezer. Across is an L-shaped dinette with table.

The yacht has a two-stateroom, two-head layout. One option places the master stateroom with en suite head amidships. In this configuration, the berth is set athwartships. The forepeak VIP can be set up with a double berth or scissor berth. A second option place the master with en suite forward and two single berths in the guest stateroom amidships.
