Yachting‘s Executive Editor, Kevin Koenig climbed aboard the Princess 75 Motor Yacht to put the 80-footer to the test.

The water off the coast of Palm Beach, Florida, had some chop, but we were able to run her at a peppy 30 knots. She handled well in 3-to-4-foot seas.

Our test yacht was powered by twin 1,800 hp MAN V12s, which according to Princess Yachts, can hit a top speed of 36 knots in cooperative seas.

Her interior layout includes 3 en suite guest staterooms, plus a full-beam, amidships master.

In the salon, she has nearly 360 degree sightlines, and with all those windows the indoor entertaining space is flooded with natural light.

She can go the distance: The Princess 75 Motor Yacht has an impressive range. If you run her at 10.5 knots she can travel 1,225 nm.
