Check Out the View Astern

The Azimut Atlantis 50 Open is scheduled to premiere this fall.

Azimut Atlantis 50 Open

It’s all teak, all the way aft on the Azimut Atlantis 50 Open.

The Coupè version of the Azimut Atlantis 50 has been available since last autumn, and this fall the builder will be premiering a new Open version.

A few changes differentiate the Open design from her predecessor. For starters, the main deck is all one level with a few steps down to the stern swim platform. While the Coupè marks the indoor and outdoor spaces on this level with different flooring material, on the Open it’s all teak, carrying they eye straight out the aft doorway and into the horizon. The Open’s sofa has been reconfigured to maximize this view with a U-shaped arrangement and additional seating facing the stern sun pad.

An electrically operated hardtop allows even more wind in your hair, and the deck is kept clear for guest relaxation thanks to a stern garage that can accommodate a nearly 8-foot tender.

Two- and three-stateroom interior layouts are available. Both include a full-beam amidships master.

Top speed on the Azimut Atlantis 50 Open is expected to be 32 knots with a cruising speed of 28 knots, driven by a pair of 600-horsepower Cummins diesels.
