EYOS Expeditions, which specializes in remote-destination charters aboard yachts such as the 158-foot Fassmer Werft Hanse Explorer and 147-foot Aquos_ Big Fish_, has formed a partnership with Chapman Freeborn air charter to give charter clients access to private jets in destinations often considered inaccessible.

“EYOS offers true, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, whether watching a curious polar bear approach the yacht across the frozen sea or experiencing the joy of having a 40-ton whale surface nearby your Zodiac,” Ben Lyons, CEO of EYOS Expeditions, stated in a news release. “Collaborating with Chapman Freeborn will give us the capability and resources to ensure our guests’ exceptional experiences continue until the moment they reach home.”

The first collaborative venture will be a 10-night expedition from Bodo, Norway, to Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Sea. Additional itineraries this year are expected to include Greenland, Iceland, the Antarctic and a crossing of the Northwest Passage.

The price tag for the 10-day Norwegian charter, for 12 guests, starts at about $300,000 at the current euro-dollar conversion rate. Return private jet departures for 10 guests to London, Paris or Moscow will add about $82,300. For New York, add about $116,700.
