The 2015 St. Barths Bucket Regatta is scheduled to take place March 19-22, which means there’s still time to book a charter and participate as a spectator during the world-renowned Caribbean event.
One option for a yacht charter is the 181-foot Proteksan-Turquoise Turquoise, which Ocean Independence says is open to offers during the regatta dates. The regular weekly base rate is $294,000.
Turquoise launched in 2011 and completed an extensive interior refit in 2014. Her contemporary décor now features silvers and blues, along with features such as an outdoor theater. Accommodations are for 12 guests in six staterooms.
The St. Barths Bucket Regatta has been held since 1995, when the initial fleet included just four yachts. Since 2005, a 30-yacht limit has been imposed to maintain order in the event.
