The 108-foot Alloy Marae—which recently turned heads with her classic décor and styling at the Newport Charter Yacht Show—will be relocating to the Caribbean this winter and is offering charters along the way in the Chesapeake Bay during the month of October.

Churchill Yacht Partners, which markets Marae for charter, says the six-guest sailing yacht is currently accepting inquiries at a weekly base rate of $54,000.

Marae (pronounce ma-EYE) takes her name from the native Maori tribe of New Zealand, where the Alloy shipyard is based. The moniker means “a special meeting place for family and friends.” The yacht is just that, with traditional exterior lines and interior walnut woodwork that give her a timeless elegance.
