Benetti Yachts launched the 219-foot FB268 M/Y Seasense today at its Livorno shipyard in Italy. She features a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure.
The yacht marks many firsts: The owner is a seasoned yachtsman and this will be his first Benetti yacht, according to the Italian builder. Seasense is also the first Benetti yacht designed by Dutch designer Cor D. Rover, who penned the exterior, and this is the first superyacht interior ever designed by the Los Angeles-based firm AREA.
A main feature of the superyacht is the aft main deck, which has a spacious area with a sun deck and large pool. Large sliding-glass doors lead to the salon from the aft deck and bring a sense of connection to the sea (hence Seasense).
Seasense should be delivered to her owner at the end of July.
Quick Specs: Seasense‘s layout includes six guest staterooms, accommodating a total of 12.
She’s got the power: Seasense has two 1,800 hp Caterpillar engines, providing a range of 5,000 nm at a 12-knot cruise speed.
