Boston Whaler Expands in Florida

The result will be 58,000 square feet more space plus 46 new full-time jobs.

Boston Whaler is expanding its headquarters in Edgewater, Florida, adding more than 58,000 square feet of space to its manufacturing capabilities and capacity. The expansion is expected to create 46 full-time jobs.

The builder decided to undertake the expansion after Volusia County officials approved local financial support as part of Florida’s Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund program.

“This expansion gives us the capability to continue to grow our portfolio,” Boston Whaler President Huw Bower stated in a press release. “We are proud to have introduced more than a dozen new boats in less than three years’ time and look forward to continuing this trajectory of innovation.”
