The 2013 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will be held October 31 through November 4 and will include six locations with 3 million square feet of space. Of course, everything from canoes to superyachts will be on display, and this year, organizers are adding a few extra attractions to the mix.

For starters, the 228-foot motoryacht SeaFair will be dockside at the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel and Marina. SeaFair houses an art exhibit, fine jewelry, a restaurant, a bar and VIP lounges.

At the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, show-goers can enter a new Sailfish Pavilion with displays that are expected to include the Miss Geico offshore race boat, a fishing pond, a bar and food trucks.

Organizers also have arranged to have exhibits featuring a personal submarine, a flying car and exotic automobiles. Live music, seminars for boaters of all ages and floating cocktail lounges will also be part of the fun, and a KidZone will once again be set up at the Convention Center venue.

Adult admission is $20 for tickets purchased online, or $22 at the show. Learn more at www.showmanagement.com.
