Boston Whaler’s 345 Conquest wins Innovation Award for V-berth functionality.
March 7, 2014
The Boston Whaler 345 Conquest has earned an Innovation Award for its Dynamic Cabin System, which converts a dining table for six people into a queen-size berth at the push of a button. The halves of the bed are out of sight when not in use, joining together in a scissor-like motion.
“The conversion from table to bed is effortless, and it instantly transforms the whole space,” Jeff Vaughn, vice president of sales, marketing and customer service, stated in a news release. “It’s an advancement we’re very proud of.”
The Innovation Awards are organized by the National Marine Manufacturers Association and are judged by members of Boating Writers International. The award for the new cabin feature was in the contest’s furnishing and interior parts category.
