Benetti Yachts in Italy has just launched the 354-foot FB275, the third “gigayacht” in this size range in the past four months.
FB275 is built of steel with an aluminum superstructure. She has a cinema, gymnasium, sauna, fire pit and drop-down balcony within her 47-foot beam, and she displaces 3,600 tons. Her fuel capacity is more than 91,000 gallons, giving her a range of 6,500 nautical miles at 14 knots, according to the builder.
Exterior design is by RWD, with Benetti’s in-house team handling the interiors.
“The launch of FB275 marks the culmination of the first part of our Benetti Giga Season, yet at the same time, begins a new era of building giants,” Paolo Vitelli, president and founder of Azimut-Benetti Group, stated in a press release. “In the creation of these three sister yachts, we have proven that our huge investments and constant endeavor to progress has, and will, continue to pay off.”
What kind of tenders does a yacht like FB275 have? The foredeck holds two 46-foot tenders, with a 33-footer aft in a garage along with eight Jet Skis. For launching and refueling, there are five cranes, two hydraulic scissor lifts and a 400-gallon refueling station on board.
