Hull No. 1 of the Benetti Mediterraneo 116 has found an owner in the Americas. The yacht will be delivered this year, and construction has already begun on Hull No. 2.
The Mediterraneo 116 has a noteworthy superstructure whose sections are meant to appear seamless. This deck, like the others, extends farther toward the stern than on some other designs, a design technique that Benetti employed to move the yacht’s visual center of gravity amidships.
Other noteworthy design elements include the cockpit, which is nearly 20 feet wide, and the frameless picture windows that run nearly sole-to-overhead in the owner’s full-beam stateroom.
Owner’s choice: The upper deck’s standard layout will include a swimming pool, but owners can customize the space however they’d like.
Sizable sundeck: At more than 50 feet long, it offers plenty of room to party.
