Sydney, Australia, has one of the best-known waterfronts in the country.

Fraser Yachts Worldwide has opened a new office in Sydney, Australia, that will coordinate yacht sales, management and charter operations for Fraser throughout Australia and the Pacific region.

The move comes at a time when some of Fraser’s competitors are opening offices in Southeast Asia and China, hoping to gain a foothold in those markets. Fraser has long had its eye on the Pacific instead, most recently through a now-defunct partnership with 37 South in Auckland, New Zealand.

“Australia is an important and growing market for Fraser Yachts and an emerging destination for superyacht sales and charter,” Fraser’s chairman, Fabio Ermetto, stated in a news release. “Fraser Yachts wants to play a key role in this area in the coming years, and we see Australia as a central region for the growing demand of superyacht owners in Australasia.”

Peter and Domenica Redford of 5 Star Motor Cruisers will manage the Sydney office. Their team is fluent in English, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese.
