Amels 180 Limited Editions yacht
Amels has sold another 180-foot Limited Editions yacht, adding to the more than 20 Limited Editions builds that have found buyers since the shipyard announced the concept in 2005.
“The continuing success of the Amels 180 and the whole 55- to 83-meter [180- to 272-foot] Limited Editions range has really continued unabated,” Managing Director Rob Luijendijk stated in a press release. “We’re seeing strong interest in our offer from the Middle East, Latin America and renewed interest from Russia. Exchange rates have played a role with our clients in the U.S., but we believe the key to our success is our commitment to continuously improve, listen to owner feedback and strive for perfection.”
As with previous Limited Editions builds, the new 180 will have exterior design by Tim Heywood. The interior designer was not announced. Delivery is scheduled for spring 2017.
Between now and then, Amels plans to introduce a sixth model in the Limited Editions series. Details are expected to be unveiled at this autumn’s Monaco Yacht Show.
