197-foot Perini Navi sailing yacht Seahawk
Perini Navi has been in the news quite a bit with the launch of Seahawk, a 197-footer that most recently turned heads at the St. Barth’s bucket and became available for charter.
Now comes word that the Italian builder has sold another design from the same 60-meter series. First came Seahawk; Perseus3 is on track to launch soon and next we’ll meet Hull No. 3, whose working name is the industrial-sounding C.2232.
C.2232 was sold with the help of Fraser Yachts Worldwide. She is a Ron Holland design that will be aluminum with an interior décor by Italy’s Michela Reverberi, who has not worked with Perini Navi in the past but who did make a memorable impression on the yachting industry with the 128-foot Hakvoort Snowbird.
Perini Navi is projecting that C.2232 will have performance qualities similar to those of Seahawk, which has exceeded projections during her first year on the water. Delivery of C.2232 is expected in 2016.
