Yachting Partners International is heralding the upcoming launch of the 98-foot Filippetti Gatsby, which is completing construction at the Italian shipyard ahead of an early summer introduction into the East Mediterranean charter fleet.

Gatsby, a Navetta 30, will be the second model in Filippetti’s Navetta green line following the 2010 launch of a Navetta 26. The yachts are designed for eco-efficiency with displacement hulls and reduced emissions. Gatsby is expected to have a fuel tank capacity of about 6,600 gallons, allowing her to cruise long distances without refueling.

She will accommodate 12 guests in six staterooms including a private upper deck and a VIP cabin forward on a raised level for expanded sea views.

“She has a superb swim platform with easy access to the water,” YPI Charter Manager Linda Ehrenstrahle stated in a press release. “Her captain, Nick Bull, is also an amazing asset for charter guests on Gatsby. A captain of some renown, he knows more secret bays and coves and diving areas in the Mediterranean than most.”

Gatsby is expected to become available for charter in Montenegro and Croatia this June, with inquiries being accepted now. Her lowest weekly base rate will be €80,000 (about $110,000 as of this writing). Learn more at www.ypigroup.com.
