Alucia Completes Extensive Refit

The 12-month effort was the most complex to date at Diverse Projects in New Zealand.

Diverse Projects in Auckland, New Zealand, has completed a 12-month refit of the 183-foot explorer yacht Alucia. It was the most complex refit at the shipyard to date and included an upgrade of the 40-year-old vessel’s systems. Work included an upgrade of the yacht’s submersible and dive-control systems.

Diverse Projects in Auckland, New Zealand, has completed a 12-month refit of the 183-foot explorer yacht Alucia. An engine exhaust purification was installed for use with both main engines and the four gensets, which meant reworking most of the yacht’s exhaust system.
