NGT-1
The NGT-1 from Actisense ($200) is a bi-directional NMEA 2000 firewall gateway—simply put, it lets a boat and a computer talk to each other. Working with PC-specific software certified by the company, the NGT-1 transfers NMEA 2000 messages to and from the bus. The gateway comes in two interface configurations: ISO-drive, which separates it from the ground for electrical spike protection, and USB, for a simple connection.
