The new Itama 70 builds on the Italian builder’s sporty open-yacht heritage with a contemporary design, expanded deck spaces and a more accommodating interior. Unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the new model is the second yacht in the renewal of the Itama range, combining exterior styling by Vallicelli Design with interior design by IdeaeItalia.

A reshaped hull-to-deck junction creates additional room on deck, particularly forward, where a large sunpad joins an expansive aft sunpad and U-shaped dining area. A wet bar opposite the dining area can be configured with a grill, cooktop or ice maker, while an electric bimini provides shade over the cockpit. At the helm, seating accommodates three, with twin 12-inch Simrad displays standard and 16-inch screens available as an option.

Belowdecks, the Itama 70 has three staterooms and three heads, with the master stateroom positioned aft. An amidships galley and L-shaped dinette serve the interior, while large hull windows bring natural light into the living spaces. A separate crew cabin with its own head is available as an option.

Twin MAN V12 diesels rated at 1,400 hp each deliver a reported top speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 33 knots. Optional 1,550 hp engines increase those figures to a preliminary 39-knot top speed and 35-knot cruise. Xenta steering and trim systems are standard, with a Seakeeper NG14 gyrostabilizer available as an option.
