CL Yachts’ first CLB65 SUV has completed sea trials and arrived in Hong Kong ahead of private previews for clients and brokers. Launched earlier this year at the builder’s production facility in Zhuhai, China, the 64-foot yacht is the latest addition to the brand’s B-Series.
Designed as a sportier, more versatile take on the CLB65 platform, the CLB65 SUV combines an SUV-style layout with twin Caterpillar C18 or Volvo Penta D13 engines. During sea trials, the yacht reached 28 knots at half load, while an optional ZF JMS control system is available to aid maneuverability.
The interior, by Supertomato Studio, features natural materials and a choice of walnut or white oak finishes. The main deck combines the aft deck, galley and salon into a continuous living space, while accommodations below include a full-beam master, VIP and convertible guest cabin.
CL Yachts will host private viewings in Hong Kong through November, followed by the CLB65 SUV’s official Asian premiere at the Hong Kong Boat Show in December.
