Ocean Alexander will introduce its new 40P at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, scheduled for Oct. 28-Nov. 1. At 132 feet, the yacht is the largest model in the builder’s Puro series and will serve as the flagship of the three-model range.
The 40P was developed in collaboration with Italian designer Giorgio M. Cassetta and naval architect Andrea Agrusta of NavalHEAD. Its exterior is characterized by sculpted lines and balanced proportions, with large expanses of glass helping connect the interior spaces with the surrounding views. The design also places an emphasis on outdoor living, with generous areas intended for entertaining and relaxing across the yacht’s decks.
Inside, the 40P accommodates up to 10 guests in five cabins, supported by crew accommodations for nine. The layout is intended to give owners and guests a variety of spaces to gather or retreat, with the yacht’s size allowing for a greater separation between guest and service areas.
The 40P measures 28 feet, 2 inches in beam and has an approximate draft of 6 feet, 6 inches. Twin MAN V-16 diesel engines, each producing 2,600 hp, provide propulsion.
Technology is another area where Ocean Alexander has taken a different approach. The yacht uses an OctoPlex system for vessel controls and monitoring, replacing much of the traditional arrangement of electrical panels and extensive wiring with a centralized architecture. The system is designed to simplify monitoring and management of the yacht’s onboard electrical and mechanical systems.
As the largest expression of the Puro design, the 40P also brings a greater degree of customization. The yacht will be available through MarineMax and can be configured to suit an owner’s preferences.
Following the 30P and 35P, the 40P completes Ocean Alexander’s current Puro lineup. Its Fort Lauderdale debut will offer the first public look at the series’ largest model and the builder’s latest interpretation of a contemporary 132-foot motor yacht.
