Fairline has introduced the new Targa 58 GTO, a 58-foot 11-inch sports cruiser that expands the British builder’s Targa lineup with a design focused on flexible indoor-outdoor living and entertaining.
The most distinctive feature aboard is a hydraulic patio-door system that transforms the enclosed salon into an open-air social space. The starboard-side glazing and patio doors lower into the engine compartment, while the port-side galley window also retracts, creating an uninterrupted connection between the cockpit, galley and helm. The arrangement gives owners the weather protection of an enclosed cruiser while allowing the main deck to open up when conditions permit.
The Targa 58 GTO also debuts a fresh interpretation of Fairline’s design language, with a higher-profile hull, floating radar arch and sculpted aft quarters. A galley-up layout keeps the chef connected to guests, while oversized hull glazing brings natural light into the salon. At the helm, triple Garmin displays and integrated joystick controls are standard.
Outside, fold-down side balconies expand cockpit space by more than 40 percent, increasing the usable area to 293 square feet. The aft cockpit includes dining for up to eight guests, a large sun pad and a hydraulic swim platform that creates what Fairline calls a waterside entertainment zone.
Belowdecks, the yacht has accommodations for six across three staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s stateroom, a forward VIP stateroom with optional scissor berths and a twin guest stateroom. An optional crew cabin is also available.
A standing-height tender garage beneath the aft deck is designed to accommodate a Williams Jet Tenders 325 or 345 along with a SeaBob, a feature more commonly found aboard larger yachts.
Power options include twin Volvo Penta D13-900 diesels producing a combined 1,800 horsepower or twin D13-1000s delivering 2,000 horsepower. Both are paired with shaft drives, with Fairline estimating a top speed of up to 32 knots.
The Fairline Targa 58 GTO measures 58 feet 11 inches overall with a 16-foot 4-inch beam and carries 732 gallons of fuel and 185 gallons of freshwater.
