Omikron Yachts will return to the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival with the latest version of its OT-60, the builder’s flagship long-range cruiser. The updated model reflects ongoing engineering refinements and owner feedback while maintaining the efficiency-focused design that has helped define the yacht since its debut.
Designed by naval architect Juan Kouyoumdjian and designer Lorenzo Argento, the 60-foot OT-60 is built around Omikron’s Eco-Cruise hull, which is intended to maximize fuel efficiency at cruising speeds. A newly available pair of 370 hp Yanmar diesel engines increases top speed to about 20 knots while preserving the quiet, economical cruising characteristics that have become hallmarks of the model.
The yacht also features vacuum-infused composite construction and a carbon-fiber superstructure to reduce weight and improve range and overall efficiency. Looking ahead, Omikron says development continues on its larger OT-80 as well as the Argo 54 project, but the OT-60 remains the centerpiece of the company’s lineup. Visitors can see the yacht at the Cannes Yachting Festival in Port Canto.
