Maxim Yachts will make its US debut at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, presenting the new Max 44 R—its fastest walkaround model to date. The 45-foot dayboat, designed by Alex Cherigny, represents the Spanish yard’s entry into the American market.

Powered by triple 400 hp Mercury Verado outboards, the Max 44 R reaches a top speed of 55 knots, or up to 60 knots with the optional Yamaha XTO setup. Distributed in Florida by Yacht-X, the model blends speed, comfort, and versatility.

On deck, the Max 44 R features expansive sunpads fore and aft, a versatile cockpit dining area with twin folding tables and four sofas—two doubling as portable coolers—and a carbon-fiber hardtop integrating a JL Audio sound system. Below, the yacht offers two double cabins, one of which converts into a lounge, with an option for a third.

“The debut of the Max 44 R at this prestigious show marks a new phase of international visibility for our brand,” said Marc Forné, Sales Manager at Maxim Yachts. “We’re excited to bring our performance-oriented models to the U.S. market.”
