Superyacht Tenders & Toys, which has made a name for itself in the Mediterranean for rentals of things like personal watercraft, has opened a new tender charter division with bookings available for one day to several months.

The idea is to let superyacht owners book tenders they might need for a specific purpose and one-time use, or to have access to reliable tenders while waiting for their own to be built.

Some of the tenders are managed by the company, while others are superyacht-owned but made available through the company when owners are not using them. The latter category includes the head-turning, racecar-inspired Castoldi jet tender that is often seen zipping around behind her mothership, the 121-foot Heesen Aurelia.

“We provided a new boat for them, and their Castoldi has not been used for six months,” explains Managing Director Josh Richardson. “We then rented it for six weeks this summer, and there subsequently is a happy owner, which we all like.”

For a complete list of available tenders, visit www.superyachttendersandtoys.com. Here are four more of our favorites, in addition to the Castoldi:

• 27-foot X-Tender with a top speed of more than 40 knots
