Denison Yacht Sales has been named the Florida and California dealer for Greenline Hybrid, a line of 33- to 88-foot boats being marketed as the world’s first serial production hybrid yacht.

Denison will offer the full line, which includes 33, 40 and 46 Flybridge models as well as 57, 70 and 88 OceanClass models for blue-water cruising.

“There is a certain pride of ownership that comes with owning such an innovative product,” Denison yacht broker Mike Kiely stated in a press release. “Interest is coming from all directions, beyond the typical, narrow owner demographic. The eco-friendly design, sensible layout and ease of operation appeal to the many boaters committed to supporting a more sustainable world.”

Greenline Hybrid yachts have diesel/electric drive systems, lithium polymer batteries charged by photovoltaic solar panels, and silent operation while under electric power. Greenline has delivered more than 300 hybrid boats to owners in 28 countries since beginning production in 2010.

“We’re sincerely thrilled to be a Greenline dealer,” said Bob Denison, who is involved with Sea Keepers and had driven several cars converted to run on reclaimed vegetable oil. “They are truly forward-thinking people with grand intentions to reinvent the way boats interact [with] and affect the water around them.”

Greenline Yachts are produced in Slovenia and Italy by The Seaway Group, which also owns Shipman Carbon Yachts and Skagen Motoryachts. Learn more at www.denisonyachtsales.com.
