Mazu Yachts plans to display a pair of new superyacht tenders at September’s Monaco Yacht Show.

The Mazu 38 Soft Top is a Halit Yukay design whose first hull went to a European owner seeking a “military look” with luxury amenities. Foglizzo leathers and fabrics are on board, with mirrors to create a perception of space. Twin Volvo Penta IPS400 engines reportedly generate a top hop of 34 knots.

The first Mazu 42 Walk-Around is expected to be delivered in August, just ahead of the Monaco show. The 42 is a center-console design with twin Volvo Penta IPS600 engines producing a reported top speed of 47 knots, and a reported cruise speed of 32 knots.

What does Mazu mean? The shipyard’s name is taken from a patron deity of Southern Chinese and East Asian people, an indigenous goddess of the sea who protects fishermen and sailors.
