MCP Yachts has launched Raffaella II, which, at 141 feet LOA, is the largest-ever build in Brazil as well as the largest-ever aluminum yacht constructed in South America.
Vripack in Holland worked with the MCP Yachts in-house team on naval architecture and design. Raffaella II is a semi-displacement build that can hit 19 knots, powered by twin 1,825-bhp Caterpillar C32 engines. At cruising speed, she has a range of 4,000 nm.
Interior features include a lighted glass spiral staircase and a sauna.
More than 150 people worked on the build of Raffaella II, which took about two and a half years to complete. The yacht is now undergoing sea trials before delivery to her Brazilian owners this summer.
