Great, new boats — for boaters of every stripe.

Horizon’s new E88 is available in enclosed bridge and open-flybridge models, and comes standard with twin 1,700-horsepower Caterpillar C32 engines, a 45-horsepower ABT hydraulic bow thruster (45-horsepower ABT stern thrusters are optional) and twin 27.5 kW Onan generators. The aft deck features a custom high-low table, a bar with sink, ice maker and refrigerator, and a 19-inch TV concealed in a folding cabinet. The “skylounge package” includes a fully-enclosed air conditioned flying bridge with a U-shaped settee and table, a high-low TV cabinet and the option of a refrigerator or an ice maker and stowage space. Aft of the skylounge, the flybridge has room for a tender and a SM2500 davit for hoisting. For more on the E88 visit www.horizonyacht.com.

Sea Ray’s new 450 Sedan Bridge features a two-stateroom, two-head layout — with the optional convertible settee in the salon, she can comfortably sleep six overnight. Her twin 480-horsepower Cummins MerCruiser diesels with Zeus pod drives provide turn-on-a-dime maneuverability, and in preliminary company sea trials, propelled the 450 to a top speed just north of 30 knots. At 1500 rpm and a comfortable 8.5 knots she has a cruising range of around 400 miles. The flybridge has a U-shaped settee with a table and a refrigerator, inviting company for the helmsman while underway. A hardtop comes standard with an optional electrically activated retractable canvas roof. A lower helm station is a smart option for foul-weather cruising. For more on the 450 visit www.searay.com.

Sessa Marine’s new Sport Coupe C54 was designed to replicate the power and style of the well-received C68 in a yacht in the under-60-foot range. The C54 looks to combine the performance of a “sporty open” with the comfort and elegance of a larger yacht. The salon, with a lacquered wenge finish, features an L-shaped settee, a bar (with wine stowage) and a table for six. Twin 1,100-horsepower Volvo 900 D11 engines coupled with the IPS2 system gives the C54 joystick maneuverability and a company estimated cruising speed of 35 knots. Equipment is high quality throughout: Mase generators, Racor fuel filters, Opacarme davits and gangways, Bose speakers and Side Power thruster systems. For more on the C54 visit www.sessamarine.com.
