A Swell Cap

Sometimes it’s the little things that matter most — those decade-old khakis that are soft as butter, that busted-up pair of Top-Siders you just can’t throw out, and, of course, a perfectly worn baseball hat. Wait, you don’t have the perfect hat? Well, allow us to introduce you to Harding-Lane, a little company we recently stumbled upon that produces some of the best hats around. Comfortable and classic in style, Harding-Lane hats are sustainably manufactured on Cape Cod by brother-sister duo Steve and Sarah Gifford, and each hat features a needlepoint-stitched emblem of aquatic East Coast wildlife species (ducks, crabs, fish and the like). Promoting the ocean while giving back to it, they give portions of the proceeds from Harding-Lane sales to Cape Cod’s Hook Fishermen’s Association and the Save the Bay Foundation. Check out all they offer at www.harding-lane.com.
